Congrats to all of you that have your new Maverick. 3 months and counting. But my dealer finally got a XL in stock and I got to see it and sit in it. More room than I expected. Now I just have to wait and wait and wait for mine.
Tires mounted yesterday. Family road trip to NOVA, this afternoon. Will likely add the tailgate assist, before we leave.

That's good information about the tailgate assist.. I didn't realize you need to lose that one anchor/bottle opener... The tailgate assist was something I was looking forward to installing however I may be reconsidering it now.

Since there is no schedule update this week, I started ordering parts for my XL Hybrid. At least I can "track" my parts orders!!
The way things are progressing with Hybrid orders I'll probably will fill up my work bench with parts long before I see the truck.

What is the fascination with the TG damper all about? Seems rather pointless on a 30# gate.....what am I missing???

It's not a hydraulic assist due to weight, just a damper. Arms full of groceries, supplies, etc. Just pull the latch and let it fall under it's own weight with no slamming or bouncing.

Did your tint place let you know what % they used to match the rear?So I pilfered this post from one of my motorcycle groups. It’s fun to see what everyone is up to. (Other than that poor SOB whose cousin totaled his)
today I got the front sides tinted to match factory
also added the tailgate assist.

I just finished a nice audio upgrade on my XLT. Did a complete write-up in the electronics forum. Sounding amazing and I'm driving the longer routes to enjoy my music.
