I cant argue with that LMAO. Love the crosstrek! Wife got a 2018 6spd (rare). love driving that car! does not have the acceleration that my maverick has though. Had to put better speakers (terrible) LED front lights (stock bulbs suck) and red LED interior foot lighting. hers does have andriod/apple car play with backup camera but its slow to respond sometimes

Not a Crosstek but will be trading in our 2014 Subaru Forester on the Maverick. She's been a loyal trooper but moving from it to the just the XL (w/CP360) is a massive upgrade like you've both said.

today I got the front sides tinted to match factory
I can't remember where I saw it so I'll ask again, but what percentage tint was the front?

And did you go ceramic/uv resistant tint or just basic?

I think basic but it does carry a lifetime warranty. It think the factory is 15%

So I pilfered this post from one of my motorcycle groups. It’s fun to see what everyone is up to. (Other than that poor SOB whose cousin totaled his)

This will be a fun thread to watch and will keep on going especially once more and more forum members get their Mavericks. The Bronco Sport Forum has a similar thread and really good stuff gets posted. We have a BS and you can really get some good ideas plus it's fun to see what others are doing with their Bronco Sports on any given day.
Good Job!

'Sup Crosstrek bro! Trading in my 2015 Tangerine Orange Crosstrek for a Hot Pepper Red AWD Mav (ordered last week soooo.. early 2022 maybe?).

The amount of the technology in the Mav compared to the Crosstrek, it'll be like sitting in a starship.
I feelz yah....The crosstrek has been extremely reliable but the fact is I trade my rides in just before 75k to get the highest trade-in value. Plus the Maverick will be the last new vehicle I buy because I'll be retiring at 65, and don't want a payment when retirement comes, trying to get by on Social Security!

Looks great! Glad to see a pic with matching the front tint to the factory back, that’s what I’ve been planning on whenever it may be that mine arrives….

You need a T50 torx driver and have to remove the "bottle cap opener" from the left side of the tailgate... was super easy
Well, I’m screwed. I only understood half of that!

Lol, the T50 torx driver is an easy enough tool to buy from a local tool store, basically you just have to remove 3 or 4 bolts and put them back in place.

The bottle opener is a T30, and that T50 is for that top bolt.

I'm not so sure I am good with removing the "Bottle opener" to install the tailgate assist. I tend to use my tiedown points quite a bit....

I’m not sure you have access to the bottle opener unless the tailgate is down.

True, but with a 4.5' bed, I'll probably use those tiedowns quite a bit.
