What are you trading in / selling for your Maverick??

2010 Mazda CX-7 with 163K on it. Wonderful car, never a problem. Bought it with about 50k on it. With the used car market up right now I am hoping to get $6K for it, bought it for $16K in 2012. Will be a bittersweet parting, but the Mavvy is much more utilitarian.

My '06 Ridgeline met an untimely end due to "user error" in Jan 2020. I've been sitting on the money I got from the insurance company since then because I had a '97 Camry as a backup vehicle and, since I started working from home during the pandemic, I didn't have to make a daily commute.

I was planning on eventually getting another Ridgeline, but then along comes the Maverick with it's great price and I'm going to do what I said I wouldn't do - buy something other than another Ridgeline. Saving $10-13k over what I would have spent on a Ridgeline is just too much savings, and I really hope to get the great MPG on the hybrid version. I'll be happy to get 35+ in the city, but hope it's closer to that 40 figure we keep seeing.

Couldn't resist selling my Jeep Wrangler for $4K more than I paid for it. Been wanting a small pickup since I retired, and Maverick came along and checked all the boxes.

Sold my 2020 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon in early June. Loved the Gladiator, but couldn't get over how much I'd spent on it, so when I was offered more than I had paid for it I took it.

Was planning to get a Tacoma or something in the fall and then the Maverick was announced, so I ordered on 6/21. I'm paying about 1/2 what the Gladiator cost. I'm riding a scooter to work every day for now, which is its own adventure.

Similar situation. 2011 Ridgeline to trade in. Swore I’d get another but they’re just so expensive. Trying the Maverick, but concerned about trading in the Ridgeline in case this is a mistake and I want it back!

What's everyone else trading in or selling for your 2022 Maverick?

I've been in my 2013 Mustang sine 2016 and have it nicely modified but I'm sorta over sports coupe / car thing (getting old?) now. Instead I'm starting to get interested in some light off-roading, camping, overlanding type of vehicle. Hoping the Maverick will serve well for some of that.

So the Mustang will go for my Maverick.
