some lucky 16 year old may end up getting one too!!
If I had a child at that age that's how I would justify the purchase at home

Exactly we bought a brand new Toyota Camry SE for my daughters 16th birthday/graduation present. So she had something super safe, good gas mileage and room. I told my wife if they would have this I would have bought her a hybrid XLT instead. Made her visiting summer vacations move from college easier for sure and better gas mileage then her Camry.

I think once these get out in the wild you will see lots of younger kids and crowd buying them. I can see the lowered mini truck scene coming back hybrids and supped up 2.0 awd XLT’s.

Agreed...I think many of us here represent the older faction of the Maverick buying population and I can definitely see younger folks lower these puppies.

Remembers when Scion brand launched in early 2000's with a "young hipster" vibe and marketing focus. A few years later Toyota found out the majority of buyers were older and less hip. Killed the vibe LOL. As it turned out middle-aged and retirement aged buyers actually like well built, affordable and simple cars. Who would have thought.

It’ll be interesting to see the difference between the age distribution in the Maverick subreddit and on the forum. My guess is it’ll be inverted.

I’m in the youngest group here and I don’t think lowered trucks are in anymore. I think it’s about lifts and adventure type mods now. Might be different depending on locale though

67 and I had a Scion Tc when they first came out. Guess I'm young at heart,

I am another 70 and up vote. I used to ride 2 wheels and had to go to 3 for health reasons all the rest of you geezers can understand.
