Damn! That sucks! Idiots! Do you know who did it?
Yes, it was me. We park in a garage that is very tight, the have very tight tolerances around a corner that no one likes. I misjudged the corner trying not to hit the right front on the wall. I left the underground garage and am parking elsewhere.

It's always the hardest when you made the damage yourself. But now that it has happened, maybe some pressure is off.

True, and I am going to see what I can do to fix it. In the end its only money, I can make more lol. I just want to know how many days of work it will take to pay the bill.

Maybe look at it this way. Your truck is now narrower exactly where you need it to park there.

Been there. In 2000 I bought a new Jetta basically over my lunch break. Got a ride to the dealer, and then drove my brand new car back to work and parked it in the underground garage. I parked next to a column and gave the adjacent stall plenty of room to be "safe."

At the end of the day, I backed out my new car out of the parking stall and learned the hard way that folding side-view mirrors will only fold to a point. Forgot the column was there, and it was a new-to-me vehicle. Snapped the mirror right off. I'd owned the car 4 hours at best.

My relationship with the VW parts department began early (my fault) and was extensive (VW's fault). 😀
