Warning about tall water bottles stored in the driver side door

Heads up, that water bottle spot + a tall water bottle does have the danger of the water bottle falling out if you slam your door shut. I had that happen to me the other day w/ the Stanley water bottle: it rolled around my foot area and I didn't notice until it hit my heel. Worst case scenario, it rolls under the brake pedal. I've caught it a few times now leaning out, surely to fall out again so that bottle doesn't go in the driver side door anymore. Would be a wise move to test the water bottles for their ability to stay put!

haha naw I just put it in the passenger side slot But judging from the water bottle threads on this forum, a LOT of guys have various water bottles in the driver side

Is it just me or does making a video about the interior features of a vehicle while traveling 80 miles an hour sound like a bad idea?

Straying out of your lane while scrolling through the trip menus and then both driver and camera man focusing in on how to increase the speed on the cruise control when suddenly hybrid tachometer sinks and theres a huge backup in front of you. Neither one of you saw that from a half a mile or you wouldn't be doing 76mph. I think the truck saved your ass when pre colision avoidance stepped in.

Agreed. Also a light bottle won't tip into where your feet are..ex. plastic gatorade bottle

I completely agree. The door storage is useless in my opinion. I would never put anything in there beyond a pack of facemarks or gas receipts.
