We’re looking to an XL owner who’d like to spice up his interior with a free bit of XLT orange.

We’d like to trade our orange front-console tray (photo) for the black one that comes on an XL. This is absolutely brand-new — we just brought the truck home yesterday.

(We are more subdued people, and prefer a more subdued interior piece.)

The black ones are available from Ford, but pricey for a bit of rubber, and we’d hate to toss the orange one out if someone would be cool with making an even trade.

(And yes, I’ve see the posts about painting the orange ones with PlastiDip or other products, but thought I’d try first to make a simple trade. Also know that eventually the aftermarket vendors will probably start making this piece.)

Send a message if interested.

If you can’t find someone, I think @Muslogy Auto has them. I also found these on Amazon. Getting them for mine whenever ford decides to build it. https://a.co/d/i3nhtez

That set on Amazon, unless I’m mistaken, is just flat mats that fit in the bottom of all the cubbies and trays. I’m looking for the entire pull-out rubber piece that goes in the front of the console.

(Could get these, and put flat black mats in the bottom of the orange piece, but not the look I’m after.)

I don’t believe Muslogy has these yet. (Just ordered the top of the dash cubby liner — behind the screen — from them.)

Only a matter of time before they and/or other aftermarket vendors offer them, I know. Just looking for “sooner.”

For anyone interested, Ford does sell this part — # NZ6Z-60045G34-AA — for about $50.

Thanks for the tip! The swap is in the works. And because he has the BAP, he has both black center pieces — the large one under the dash and the little one in front of the armrest box.

So…. Very happy camper here!
Glad to hear! I read this awhile back but it immediately popped into my head after his post.
