California Want to buy Maverick XL Hybrid

Im in California but am willing to fly nationwide for a Maverick hybrid XL or XLT in white or cactus. I have an extended lighting reservation and will get to order this summer but am having second thoughts. If you ordered a Maverick but are thinking of canceling please let me know so I can contact your dealership to try and get the truck. Or if you have a Maverick for sale hit me up.

I did look at the marketplace, but didn’t see anything. Im sure that Ill end up having to wait until August to order a 2023. At least I have a dealer who isn’t charging ADM

I strongly recommend you order whatever you want in August. Reasons?
1) It is less expensive to have it factory installed than adding a Ford accessory later
2) Ford may not offer a certain accessory or features with any other trim level OR offer it as an aftersale add-on. (e.g. no cruise control on XL. Can't add factory, only aftermarket.)
3) Some features can not be added once the vehicle is "In Production" (only during "Scheduled"), such as CP360 or SIBLiner (if offered), etc.

Many new owners have opted to do aftermarket add-ons. Nothing wrong with that at all.
There are advantages & disadvantages for factory installed and aftermarket installation.

The best advantage of adding features and/or accessories, when custom ordering, is all factory installations (including dealer installed like TOUCHLINK) are covered under the new vehicle warranty of 36ms/36Kmiles. (This is pretty much industry wide, regarding new vehicle warranty coverage.)

Just my thoughts and two cents. Others will chime in.

Are you planning to accept and then sell the Lightning?

Im planning to order both then make a decision to just buy one. My dealer is on board with that because they’ll easily sell whichever one I don’t purchase. It honestly might come down to which one is ready first because I need a vehicle asap.
