Ford has an online tracker where you can input your vin to see the status I believe.

Ford Maverick Vin # Screenshot_20230202_162945_Chrome~2
U can get the vin a couple of weeks before it will be placed in the timeline of production
(kinda think of it as ur scheduled to be scheduled for a production date) ...
Once u get to see the window sticker I believe that is when the plant decides on a day for ur truck to start production about a week to a week and a half in the future. ( so I had the vin 1 month before production started for my truck and I got to see the window sticker about a week before my truck started production) u won't see much or anything on the tracker till it physically starts to be built to say in production.. Mine was pushed from week of 12/19 to 1/3 then again to week of 1/9 on the 12th I got the tracker to say in production and the modules popped so the truck had been started.. Got a email saying waiting shipment on 1/13 then email saying it was shipped on 14th. Now the tracker has updated to say shipped on the 13th
Currently the truck has been sitting in a rail yard on a train car in East St Luis for 10days now 300 miles away from its final rail yard in Chicago.. Once there it can get shipped out the next day by car hauler to dealership in WI. Or sit there for a week or month or Longer before it gets delivered to dealership. Under the tracker it tells me estimated delivery... At first it said 1/29-2/4 then it changed to 1/28-2/8. And then last night it changed again to say 2/2-2/15 .. It sucks but all u can do is wait.. U can order a 15$ t-shirt from China... And get a tracking # and track the whole thing.. This is not like that..... It kinda sucks especially since when u buy the truck u ordered ur paying 1500 for it to be shipped to the dealership and they realy give u nothing to track the shipping... U may get luck a customer service.. Will give u the train car # but I've tried 6 times since it has shipped and they say they can't see the train car # or they say they can't give out the train car # and u have to ask ur dealership who most likely say that can't track it and u have to call customer support to get the rail car #
I hope all that helps

I have always bought my vehicles threw private sales and just paid cash... I'm 44 and have never bought something from a dealership... But I figured with that crazy high used vehicle prices the last 2 years... If I'm going to pay To much for something used that is going to loose value cuz prices drop.. Then I might as well buy something brand new and have it depreciate cuz I drove it off the lot... Mavs don't seem to be doing that right now but they will eventually when and if sales go back to normal

If you go to log into tracking site, and it doesn't work, you may try a different browser. Chrome on my phone doesn't pull the site up, but Samsung Internet app on my phone does. Also sometimes the Samsung Internet app stops working right on it and I have to clear browser cache.

Once you have the VIN you can go on the tracker but all it will show is order confirmed or possibly the scheduled week date. Once it actually goes into production, that's when you'll see movement
