VELOCITY BLUE Maverick Photos Thread

Yesterday I Visited a pair of Mavericks at the Moyer Ford dealership in Foley, Alabama. Took some photos with my 2005 Prius to give you an idea of the size of the truck.

Overall, the interior of the Maverick is comfortable and roomier than the Prius thanks to the more vertical body And the slightly larger vehicle dimensions make sliding in and out of the Maverick a breeze! The ride handling was very nice and it was comfortable to drive. A very worthy successor by Ford to the eco-friendly Prius.

Never thought I'd order a truck. As a newby I am wondering why truck buyers are quick to change out their new factory tires, especially with the same size and same wheels. Would appreciate your opinion.

I did it because they had Continental Pro-Contacts on there and those are not good in the winter weather. So I changed out to the BF Goodrich Tires for added ability in the winter weather and I like the more aggressive look.

I’ve have had mine for a week and just got my tint and new tires put on today, so it feels like it’s time to show. 25% front window tint and 235 Toyo AT3s. Love the look of the tires and once I put some mileage on them, I’ll have a better idea of how they effect handling and mpg.

I’m now debating on removing the fx4 sticker or replacing it with a black one. Then the next project is blacking out the silver grille bar and building a storage system in the back seat. We’ll see how much I can get accomplished in the next few weekends.

Loving the Velocity Blue, it’s great looking in all weather conditions (it’s been rainy and stormy all day in the pnw but it still looks nice!)

Velocity Blue looks so good. I love it. Looks great. To be honest though, I love all the Maverick colors. It's a great color selection palette. But VB is glorious. Especially with the black wheels. ENJOY!!!

Took delivery of my Lariat with lux pkg and 4K tow on Friday! Took out the boat the next day. What a great truck!!!
