Looking good and Thank You for your service. If the inside of the stem covers is metal, you have to be careful with the two different metals "welding" together. Dealer and mechanic have warned me, bout a $500 fix. I placed Teflon tape in the stem before putting the cover. So far so good.

I hot melted the nickle casings on the factory plastic caps. My honor to serve. Thanks

I ordered the velocity blue also, looks great. Been tempted to change to 'white', since I see one driving around my neighborhood and that looks good also. Might just keep it the way I have it since it is supposed to be built the last week of August.

The build is locked as soon as you get a VIN. Congrats on getting the best color.

I bought mine about two weeks ago. I work at a Ford dealership and the customer backed out of their order. So far I've gotten rid of the steelies and installed some 17" Petrol P2A wheels, graphene coated the exterior, installed a spray in bed liner, and ceramic tinted the whole truck.

Just got my 2.0L EcoBoost Lariat lowered on Steeda Escape AWD lowering springs. Definitely not the lowest in this group, but I really enjoy it. At first glance it didn't look much lower, but standing next to it and driving it you can definitely tell the difference.

I also added the Steeda Strut Tower Brace and Steeda Rear Sway Bar. It's corners and handles amazingly! And the ride isn't harsh or bumpy at all. Overall I'm definitely satisfied with this setup.

I almost changed my 'still to be built' VB Maverick to white, but man, that blue sure is sharp! Plus, it's only available MY22, so maybe somewhat of a collector's item down the road?????

It was the second most popular color for 2022, so there should still be plenty of them around. Maybe most Mavericks will be collector's items when Ford runs out of supplies and shuts down production permanently.

Here is my Maverick after 2” lift, new tires, and fender flares. I recently changed to Toyo Open Country 245/65/17 from the Pirellis.

Loved the look and will be a lot more aggressive in snow and mud.

Then I went with Bushwacker fender flares. I know some people don’t care for them. I like them a lot more than I thought I would. Without them the Toyo tires would sling everything on the truck due to there width. I also switched out the stainless bolt covers for black push clips and glued them on the backside.

Then I just completed the 2” lift kit from Fordrangerlift.com. A lot better clearance and I don’t drop down in the truck as far getting in it. I’m 6’2. It really levels the Maverick out. Took about 7 hours total for install.

Love it. Absolutely freakin' great!
Put new wheels on it right away, day 3 I think. Tonneau cover, some grill lighting, ceramic coating, spray in liner and I'm done.
2.0 no battery bullsh!t for me.
