VELOCITY BLUE Maverick Photos / Club

Didn’t have a chance to take more photos but saw this beauty on the lot as I was passing buy. Couldn’t resist stopping for one quick pic.
It's been called velocity blue in other Ford vehicles since at least the 2019 model year.
Ford does have a Lightning Blue. I actually think it's a more interesting blue than Velocity when I've seen Ecosports in it. It has a bit more range under the light that accentuates differing angled body surfaces. The trucks I've seen in VB tend to look more uniformly blue across the vehicle.

This is a great look for the Maverick, trail ready! Looks like this is the ALPHAequipt FOXTROT 17x7.5 +35 with the 245/65r17 BFG KO2 tires.

I found one sitting on a lot last weekend. I had to act fast and buy prior to the end on the test drive. It might have more options than wanted. I got it for MSRP but the got me with the etching and a plan to replace a lost key Fora total n $800 more.

Yesterday I Visited a pair of Mavericks at the Moyer Ford dealership in Foley, Alabama. Took some photos with my 2005 Prius to give you an idea of the size of the truck.
Overall, the interior of the Maverick is comfortable and roomier than the Prius thanks to the more vertical body And the slightly larger vehicle dimensions make sliding in and out of the Maverick a breeze! The ride handling was very nice and it was comfortable to drive. A very worthy successor by Ford to the eco-friendly Prius.
