Loaded him up with 30 bags of mulch and a pallet from Menards. Just about maxed it out but this thing handled the weight like a champ!

It's definitely on the upper pegs, you can see the lower one in the pic.Is it just me; or did you get one of those less that flat tailgates? (Too short cables?)
Oh wait, did you move it to the upper peg? Worried about it hitting the ground?
But to me, it looks less "up" than mine. Like it's half way to half way. Must be the photo angle.
It’s on the upper pegs! You know… didn’t want the pallet to slide out.. figured that would hold it, apparently…Is it just me; or did you get one of those less that flat tailgates? (Too short cables?)

This thing is absolutely perfect for me. I don’t necessarily NEED it to be a truck most of the time, but when I need to redo my front yard or buy a new grill for the summer, it’s ready for it!I can’t remember my first haul, but I can tell you mine has hauled five bikes to the park, lots of mulch, multiple loads of kids toys (donations), firewood, and lots of boxes for work. Now I’m in pool season so my kids pool toys and toys will be making weekly visits in the bed!
I agree completely. All my neighbors have full size Rams, F150’s and Silverados. So far the Maverick does everything I want, hauls 3 kids, my dog, and everything I want to move back and forth to my house. This thing is absolutely perfect for me. Don't ever assume a heavy load won't move.A) The pallet wouldn't move if you wanted it to.
B) But you have a tapered tail/rudder like on a jet liner to prevent a ground strike at least!
Doesn't really apply to coming out the back, now does it?Don't ever assume a heavy load won't move.
I had a heavy pallet in the back if my F350 (8' bed)
I had to make a emergency stop when a car pulled out in front of me. I missed the car but the pallet slid forward and bent the front of the bed box and broke my rear window.
I how tie all loads down.

My response was: " Don't ever assume a heavy load won't move."Doesn't really apply to coming out the back, now does it?
But no, I don't guess and I don't assume.
