US Sales Regions Discovery

Ordered mine in the Greenville/Spartanburg area of South Carolina, and I’m 21 Atlanta Region. Even though we are pretty much half way between Charlotte and Atlanta.

The Ford scheduling allocation system seems to be very dependent upon the sales region your dealer is located in. I've asked around and even @fordvideoguy https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/october-hybrid-orders-united.12399/post-297565 has not seen a list of the US sales regions. I searched the internet and only found this page https://www.garysgaragemahal.com/dso-codes.html But, it looks like it has not been updated since information from the 1990s.

So the purpose of this post is to discover the current US sales regions. The above link does provide some good information such as all dealers fall under a District Sales Offices (DSO). DSOs are represented by a 2 digit number. The first digit is the sales region the office is in. I could not find any names for these regions so I guessed at the following names. If anyone knows the proper names please reply.

The ordering dealer's DSO should be the 1st 2 numeric digits of your "Sales Code" on your dealer order.

The DSO is also included on each Ford window sticker. It is the first two digits in the "ITEM #" area of the sticker

The below list started from the dso-codes web page above. I have seen a Maverick window sticker with a 44 DSO but don't know where it was from. We will have to decipher what DSO these unlisted numbers represent. Also note the above regions list does not include a 3 or 6. So there is a chance Ford has added more regions in the last twenty plus years. I will update this first post with any new regions / DSOs we discover.

Hmmmmm…. My dealer code is 41, which looks like it should be Chicagoland area.
I live 60 miles from Chicago, but only 20 miles from Milwaukee (Racine County, WI).
Don’t know why they’d be grouped farther south, rather than closer north?

When I first joined the forum, there was a question about order numbers and sales codes. I remember reading that the sales code is unique to the dealer and the order number is generated by the dealer. I am in Wichita Falls, TX and I just looked at my sales code and it starts with F52 and Dallas' region code is 52. So, there is no need to wait for a window sticker, just look at your order sheet.

No sticker but my order sheet shows 56 and I ordered from Nampa Idaho. Basically in the far west edge of Idaho.

I live in Colorado Springs, but I ordered mine from Castle Rock Ford. Which is in Castle Rock, (big surprise). They are between Colorado Springs and the greater Denver area. I picked them because there are 2 Ford dealers in COS, but they are both owned by Phil Long and both wanted 3K over MSRP even if I ordered. Castle Rock Ford is going to sell it to me at MSRP, No ADM.

Anyway, attached is the location of Castle Rock Ford in relation to COS and Denver.

My code is 56.

Not sure why you have COS in the Midwest and Denver in the West. Seems like they should be in the same region. and not sure why Castle Rock Ford is in the COS region, they are closer to the greater Denver area than COS.

Who knows?
All I know is, if my Maverick is not here in 6 months, I'll wait longer.

Looks like at one time Denver was in the West but now is in the Midwest / Rockies
