My hitch has been used to pull me out of deep snow more than it's been used for towing.

I tow at least weekly. We have a ~3500lb 6x12 shaved ice trailer we take to events around our area. Truck bed has generator to run trailer and 50 amp power cord all the time. No issues. I'd estimate 40-50% of the miles on the truck are towing.

We are planning to down size from our house this year so I will probably sell my utility trailer. The final use of the trailer will be while we move but after that I will probably stop towing. The truck will be used to make dump/ recycling runs to the transfer station and to haul my wife's furniture finds to feed her hobby of restoring and painting furniture. There may be a small tent trailer in our future but that will depend on whether or not we have a place to store it.

I don't think the OPs figures are a surprise to anyone who's ever seen a costco parking lot. Up here it'll be 60% pickups and not a single one with a scratch or scuff in the bed.
Lots of people like driving a pickup because it makes them feel "safe" even though they'd probably be better served by a SUV but that's people for ya.

I'm constantly carting things around, my Fiesta did more cargo hauling than my brother and mom's pickups combined and I don't expect the Maverick will do any less toting and carting.

Survey data from vehicle research firm Strategic Vision shows a third of today’s pickup owners rarely or never use their truck for hauling, while two-thirds rarely or never use it for towing.
source AXIOS Article is focused on big trucks, not compact trucks like Maverick.

Will you actually use your truck for hauling and towing?
Have and will. How frequently does "use" count as, though? Once a month ( that's me mostly)? Once weekly? Once ever?
