Two Mavs, one each, available in Quincy, Mass

Picked up my IS Lariat today. Quirk Ford did right by me. Recommended.
While there, saw, and enquired about 2 Mavs in the lot.
Both were Area 51’s.
One was an EB XLT, with everything. Sticker about $35k. Stock order.
Other was a hybrid XLT. Don’t know the sticker. Retail ordered, but refused.
Both will be marked up by $5k.
BUT……dealer said he’s open to dealing.
Just passing the word.

Thanks for posting this. Just went down and finally got to see one up close. It’s a great coincidence they happened to have two (one of each powertrain)“cancelled orders” to see in person. I couldn’t be happier I ordered a hybrid in mid-August. I’m thankful my 25 year old Jeep Cherokee (bought new) is still running strong. Otherwise, I’d be tempted to pay the 5k markup! I’ve only seen one (white XL Echo) in these parts and that was a couple months ago. Looking forward to going from 12 mpg to 40.

Went there (quirk ford Quincy) today, they let me test drive a Lariat hybrid and said they have 3 that they can't sell for 2 weeks (doubt that's true, you know how salesmen are). I only saw 2 on the lot, both area 51 lariat no lux package or anything fancy. Quoted me 34,300. I'm gonna try to find an XL/xlt so figured I'd pass the info on
