I’ll soon be turning my attention from my truck’s interior to the truck bed. I have several 60” LED strips that I’ll be using to augment the illumination in the bed. My question is can any LED strip be cut down to a shorter size? I don’t want to turn the corner from the side of the bed to the front. I have a DIBL and don’t expect I could get the 3M tape to hold over time.
I’m aware that some strips advertise they can be cut to size and have specific markings where the cuts can be made. Can I use one of those to indicate where cuts can be made on one with no such markings? I would intend to seal the cut end with some silicon to maintain its waterproof protection.
