Does anyone know what kind of material it is being made from? How will it hold over time in a hot/cold climate in the south? Is this an expense every 3-4 years or do you have to treat/cure it like a convertible top?

Having sold tonneaus in my teenage days and being a bit of a car nut, the covers can last a good long while. I had one I put on a 96 Ranger that was still on it when I sold it in 2010. The one it had was vinyl and I just used UV protectant and a good vinyl cleaner (303 Protectant and Mothers VLR these days). The biggest thing is to make sure you clean it every month or so.
