Hard to imagine that they wouldn't eventually do an AWD Hybrid. People love AWD whether they need it or not, and to many people it just feels "wrong" to have a truck that doesn't power all four wheels.

AWD hybrid would be a sick, sick daily here in the Tri-State. Its not often we get snow thats so bad a 2WD can't handle it, but when you wake up to a blanket of snow outside and still gotta make it to work, it'd be really nice to peek down and see 35-40MPG while you creep along. Any normal car that gets 20-30 on your daily commute is suddenly gonna be pulling 8-12 in clogged up snow traffic, not a problem for the hybrid!!

I love how obscure and yet clear your messages are at times 😂

I don't think anyone would or should be surprised about an AWD hybrid Maverick. It makes complete sense plus its been obscurely hinted.

Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if the Maverick is only available as a hybrid/full EV down the road.

This is the version I'm waiting for. I did fine for many years in the NE with snow tires, but now in the desert Southwest I find myself exploring many loose, sandy roads where I've wanted AWD (and have had to jam floor mats under the wheels of my FWD car a few times).

Yah it's been on there I assume if there wasn't huge supply chain issues and chip shortages they would have released one this year. Neither of those issues will be fixed until well into 22 maybe 23 so I would be surprised if even the 23 model year gets it.
