So, just out of curiosity what is your mpg. I wholeheartedly agree with the method as the only accepted way for accurate mpg. I'm getting an eco so it won't apply to me - I'm expecting mid 20's since I'd rather get there and then relax lol.
I had an eco for 7 months and driving like a regular person I got 23

Hey Gary-

I forgot which trim you have?

Did you catch my post where I discovered there's not really a "lifetime" MPG number in the on board system? This is the case in my XLT.

The data is FIFO - first in, first out. Once the data buffer is full, oldest data is constantly being overwritten.

Without documentation, I'm estimating the MPG moving average is at least the past 128 hours of driving, and at most, 166 hours of driving.
No, I did not see that post. I have an XLT.

I'm averaging 38-39 mpg for the driving I do. My Maverick seems to have no problem getting around 40mpg on the highway
How many miles do you have on your truck? I don’t have #s to prove it, but I think mpg’s on Mav XLT H improved several mpg’s after 5,000 miles. Anyone else experience this?

My avg MPG so far as been 43.5 to 45 MPG per tank in over 7000 miles. and that is some highway. Mostly back roads at 56 MPH

So I did a mileage summary a couple of months a go, feel free to check out my video on the results . This is by no means scientific or even 100% accurate. A couple of notes from my driving are.
- average mpg is over 10k, 41 mpg's
- All driving is in normal mode eco is terrible!
- over a third of my total driving has been in electric
- at over 10k miles I still had almost 10% oil life
- I drive normally, meaning not hypermiling, at or slightly over the spead limit
- I use regular mid grade gas
- I drive 60/40 highway
Disagree that Eco is terrible. I almost always drive in Eco.

Here’s my 100% tracked mileage. I drove 80 miles a day 3-4 days a week on the highway. That mixture for city/highway isn’t accurate in the image. I’d say more highway
Is My Maverick a website? Could not find it.

I drive so infrequently these days it will probably take me a couple years before I get it “broke in” properly to start seeing truly excellent MPG’s, but I’m absolutely loving the ability to drive over 500 miles between fill-ups.

The meter does not hold 7500 miles worth of data. Something like only the most recent 3 or 5 tankfuls or 10,000 minutes of data, something like that but it's unpublished what the actual value is. So the dash is "fresher" more recent than you think. Sadly, no lifetime stats except if you manually keep records.

Mpg for the first 2400 miles of my 2023 XL Hybrid.

This is with 60% highway driving (65-70mph, highways are somewhat hilly with occasional congestion - both helps with mpgs) no AC, temps are in the 70-80s.

Screenshot is from Fuelio showin mpg at each refueling (alias the mpg is measured at the pump).
Those higher mpg refuelings correlated with more than usual congestion on the highway.

Wait....

You are asking for a link to something I said was unpublished?

😂

You can say you saw it here first.

If you drive the same way all the time, you won't easily notice.

If you hook up a trailer one day, you'll notice your "never reset meter(s)" go down pretty fast.
Ergo, no "lifetime" meter in these trucks.

Like after many tankfuls towing the Towing MPG = the "lifetime" MPG. Not the average MPG is how I know.
