Took the Mighty Mav clubbing to Costco to celebrate first 500 miles. I treated it to a full tank of gas.
90% city, 10% highway
Mainly 6-12 mile round trips, 2-3 times per day.
40-45% electric, in the city commutes
DRLs, AC and radio always on
Just to clarify, you're getting those figures on a hybrid? Your user name says ecoboost1400 miles on this trip and getting 39.6mpg. Mostly city driving and slower hwy like 65mph. I do the math on the pump and it’s dang near identical.
May I ask, why Slippery mode?I can tell from the photo you are in California.
Me too. I got it at Costco for $5.11 last Thursday. Just before a price hike.

No A/C
Almost always Slippery Mode.
90% city 10% hwy
11-12 miles each commute.
25-28 miles a day counting lunch.
It is the gentlest of any mode.May I ask, why Slippery mode?
Yes it does. What bothers me the most is the difference between the adaptive cruise on lariat and the legacy cruise on the XLT. Have to get legacy cruise up to 26mph or so to resume but can resume Adaptive while stopped at light. If there is automatic adaptive resume trick foot off brake or on accelerator advance, I haven't figured it out.! I cannot find squat on XLT lux display.either as I had lariat for 9months first. The Lariat has a different display than the XLTLux![]()
Some have expressed that they are pushing the set labels above and below the resume button which is also a toggle push resume up towards the + or down towards the - labels to set the cruise. Assuming of course that you have pushed the activate button (if the activate button is not working see the dealer). We just gassed for the first time yesterday. Approximate 600 miles and 50 miles reserve. I think we got around 45+mpg, mix of town and highway, maybe 50-50. Quite a bit more than advertised/EPA. But I don't know how to interpret the MPG read out on the instrument cluster. Is it the trip average, the tank average, or the instant rate? Also it seems like we have 2 trips in play. First tank, and current tank. I will see different mpg's on the two trips? I'm not a totally stupid person, but there's a lot of complexity in this truck. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone whose high school education occurred in the last 20 years. No major problems to report but it seems that the cruise control will not activate. I think I did as the manual instructed. Not a big problem, will ask them to fix on first service. We really love this truck.
