The dealer called today and the the car has been delivered. The dealers in DFW have been raising holy hell about the delay at the rail yard. Ford is moving to clear the update back log at the rail yards nationwide. The total delay for me was 2/24/25 - 3/26/25.

I picked up the vehicle today. 2025 XLT Eruption Green Hybrid with Co Pilot 2.0

Further update on my Maverick....I will be getting my 25 Eco Lariat with 4K towing package tomorrow afternoon! Granger has been very accommodating and rushing to get my Maverick ready, especially since my $750 cash back from Ford expires on Monday, 3/31/25. Also I start jury duty on 3/31/25. Thank you @GrangerFord!

It’s home!
quick update…fine folks at granger made it extremely easy, especially accommodating my awful flight rescheduling. Finally arrived and the truck was waiting. Samantha, Shelby, and the granger team made it as easy and painless as anyone could hope for.

I’m extremely happy with my mav. I found I liked the adaptive cruise and lane centering way more than I expected. It made the 650 mile drive home easy. Highway cruise was easy, quiet and comfortable.

good to meet a fellow MTC member getting their mav at the same time.

I made it home safely too with my 2025 Maverick from Granger. My Wife and I bought it yesterday and got to meet a fellow MTC member (the previous poster ). My wife and stayed at my oldest daughter's home on Friday night and made it home safely this evening. Pictures will come later...

Estimated delivery was reduced AGAIN.

03/26/2025 - 04/01/2025 now, moved back 2 days from last estimate and 10 days from initial estimate. Place your bets gentlemen.

Welp, they actually delayed the estimated delivery date now after having reduced it several times. The estimate now shows 04/04/2025 - 04/10/2025... so it's back to 1 day prior to the initial estimate

My Maverick was delivered today, 3 days prior to the last day of very first estimate. I should be able to pick it up before Friday.

It took long enough that I'll get the employee pricing deal, so it all worked out.

edit: Ford order page is not updated yet, still says shipped. Employee pricing dropped the price by $2,400.

Got a top down of the black roof, very hard to photograph! It does look good though and blends the black tonneau with the black accents of the body nicely.

And some interior shots after getting in out of the rain, shows how the color changes under different lighting. I'm probably going to strip the hood decals off, not in love with those.
