I know right...
That is why I have not given up on this little guy. Regardless of its issues the hands and feet of the Ford community will overcome all of the shortcomings. Fingers crossed that is

Ford is going to have to install a stronger transmission because the 8 speed currently used in the ecoboost models can barely handle the torque of the engine without having to use software to soften full throttle upshifts (torque management). Not much use in increasing engine output without destroying the transmission.
