I see a new one on Amazon just wondering if anyone has tried it and what they thought. I have SIBL and a Maverick may. Just looking for something to save my knees and offer some protection

Ford Maverick Tailgate mat / pad suggestions 5eebc73e-e111-4c4c-94c9-20852e4e07f8

I just installed this yesterday, Bedrug Sportliner. THis is what I used my ford points on (worked out to cost as much as your Amazon link). It is VERY comfortable and prevents things from moving around the bed. There's velcro underneath so you can remove it to spray down when dirty. I see myself parking this lakeside and actually being able to comfortably relax in my bed this summer cuz of this thing. Highly recommended

This was $30 when I got it in Sept. 23' now $40.

Tailgate portion held on with stock screws from the access panel. The bed part is heavy enough it's not going anywhere.

The one in the Amazon link is TPE which won't help much with cushioning for old knees. I used my points to get the Ford version and it's nearly as hard as steel. Much softer are HFT mats. One of many sources: https://www.harborfreight.com/4-piece-anti-fatigue-foam-mat-set-94635.html?
I don't attach to the tailgate (although I'm sure it could be done). Just toss a couple in the back when needed. Be sure to weight/tie them down if you don't have a bed cover. They are very light weight.

Looks nice but when it gets wet its going to take forever to dry and smells, my buddy has one in his F150 I think rubber is a better option.
