Here's a real first world issue that's more about media file attributes than about the Ford Maverick. And I'm starting with the den of experts here before contacting the Ford customer service folks who may not grasp what I'm complaining about, much less fix it.
Yes, I'm a music aficionado so these details are important to me. I just took receipt of a 2025 Maverick and plugged in the USB archive of what I'm listening to in my 2023 Maverick. Obviously, I'm hooked on this little "truck" in addition to my tunes. And I have the B&O system in both vehicles to maximize my enjoyment.
I'm up to more than a thousand music files on the USB drive, and the SYNC 3 system in the 23 Mav displays a good mp3 image--usually album artwork--for 90% of them. That's no mean feat considering some of the obscure stuff I listen to.
However, the 25 Mav is so far displaying very few of the mp3 images. Quite honestly, I was expecting the opposite to be true with a more advanced system. I've trolled around a little on the SYNC 4 system settings and see nothing close to a fix for this.
Anyone have an idea why this is the result going from SYNC 3 to 4, and whether it can be corrected?
There are online mp3 editors like OnlineConverter.com that may work. But that particular one is one file at a time which makes it useless in my situation. A few files yes, a thousand forget about it. I would need a bulk mp3 file converter, and even that would take hours.
