The most important thing is no one was seriously hurt. I've read about the 911 feature, but I was not aware that the Maverick would call emergency contacts too. What does it do send them an email?

Just a little research, Alabama total loss is 75% of the cars worth or if unable to safely be repaired. That leave the possible bill at 19k plus at the least before they total.

My 6 year old was slammed into hers. Trucks 911 assist called 911 like it was supposed to. We walked away a little battered but OK. Truck also called the emergency contacts I put in it.
Guy ran the light and slammed us at high speed.
Also, addiction is posting a Tbone review while IN THE ER.......which I did.
But this truck did impress. He hit me so hard he nearly knocked me out of the intersection. I was coming from that road closed sign. The hit swung me 90 degrees and damn near off the road. I was rolling in electric mode maybe 20 mph so I would hit the next light perfectly. He ended up past my truck. It hit so hard the rear door clipped his car as he was passing. And this is a shitbox 90s escort station wagon. Crushed the front end of his car. Radiator fluid and it looked like oil everywhere. I will definitely get another Maverick.

He did jump it, he just ran it running full speed for that road. I hope she does. That moment was the nightmare of my life seeing her hit that door. Damn near broke my hand trying to reach her. What is worse is my wife heard it on the overhead. Can imagine being in her shoes either.
I respond to accidents alot and that still hit me real hard damn. Really glad you all as ok as possible. Sucks so bad about your Mav but it did it's job.
I understand. You and I and other Brothers and Sisters in Arms can take just about anything that happens to us (I spent 5 months in a Navy Hospital in 1972) but when it comes to our children that's so freaking different. Our youngest, when he was 6 months old, had a very high fever and was Hospitalized for four days, I told the staff I wasn't leaving and they brought a roll away bed for me to sleep on. I didn't leave his side till it was time to bring him home. Our oldest son was in a car accident when he was a senior in High School and was in the Hospital for two days. When they said visiting hours were over I "explained" to them that I wasn't leaving, they agreed so I stayed. We are indestructible, but our Children and our emotions aren't. Just remember, when this starts replaying in your head, that you and your Daughter were, thankfully, ok in the end.
Glad you both are well. Sucks for the Maverick. Remember to get diminished value for your truck. Worth less wrecked and fixed.
