Killing time browsing You Tube for Maverick stuff and happened upon this great hack to help line up your Maverick's ball to the trailer hitch. Sure, the rear view cam has a center line, but without this hack there's no way to see how far away the trailer hitch is from the rear of your Maverick. Get too close and and you're going to damage the tailgate. This solves the problem with ease.

I have never tried this and probably will at some point.

However, it's really unrealistic how high the trailer hitch was in the first attempt.
A bit of movie making license there.

I've never ever had that "problem" in 30 years of towing. Funny. 2022 was the first time I had a reverse camera.

I've been doing it fine blind for 29 years. Sometimes I'll miss on first try. But never on second. And I've never damaged a truck or trailer.

Some of us grew up watching Cheers and listening to "little known facts" from Cliff Claven, that along with watching just about any movie with Joe Pesci in it and we became immune to the accent.
