SOLVED:
I replaced my speakers and was able to get the door back on just fine, but this plastic paneling (see pictures) will not go back on. The two plastic brackets at the bottom snap in just fine, but the plastic slit that go into the piece of rubber just gets pushed out. It causes the plastic piece to be loose at the top and have about a half inch gap.
Thank you Hooverq! This was the exact issue! While the door panel seemed correct and the bolts, plastic clips and screws fit together fine, it was in fact wrong. The top of the door panel where it "hooks" onto the door at the top was not fulled seated correctly. This caused that plastic triangle piece not to fit correctly.Had the same issue. Ended up being the door panel was installed incorrectly by me. Compared to the other side and saw that even though it seems to be correct it wasn't. Pulled off reinstalled and the sail panel piece snapped right in. Good Luck.
Actually in looking at your pics I can see that you do not have the panel seated in the rear grooves.

- I've tried just pushing it in.
- I've taken the rubber bracket out and fit it onto the plastic panel then tried putting it back in.
