So we have a 2,000 towing capacity. I don't own anything that would necessitate towing, but I'm getting a luxury package with the hitch and, hey, it's a truck, so it's fun to think about what we could feasibly tow with it. Here's what I thought of:
-Small U-Haul trailer (empty weight of a 5x8 trailer is 900 pounds)
-Utility boat/small fishing boat (easy to find simple, smaller boats with a combined trailer weight of around 1,500 pounds).
-two jet skis (the marketing has shots of them doing this)
-old school teardrop trailer (average weight of one is 1,000 pounds)
-Trailer full of bark chips or stuff for the yard
Definitely not gonna be hauling the horses with this thing, and given it's low torque numbers and the Atkinson style engine along with a CVT, I definitely would try to not be at max towing very frequently.
