Definitely feels as though I'm through the looking glass, as things have become curiouser and curiouser...

For the 1st time, my Salesman (who has been responsive from the very beginning) sent an email yesterday with new information that began "Not sure if you are getting updates...", which is curious, 'cuz up to this point, it's been me sending him new information. Uh oh. He then dropped the hammer, informing me the 'NEW' build date is now 7-25, time tacked onto the original date of 6-6, which shifted to 6-13 and then became 6-20.

I responded with "I've been tracking, kinda, but the Ford Tracker option is ineffective [a kind way to put it and today's 'Understatement of the Day' leader] and the next threshold may be the announcement that it's been rolled to 2023".

I hope it doesn't come to that. VIN# in hand, no explanation from Blue Oval (go figure) as to why and the popcorn supply for this show is getting thin. And my Dad is probably spinning in his grave, spouting these gems: "I thought I taught you to never buy the 1st model year and yet, you did, without a test drive or having seen or sat in one. What did you expect?"

Lovely. We now return to our regularly scheduled programming...

Per Tim's video yesterday, Ford is having issues with the hybrid batteries. I don't know if its an issue with the battery itself or just getting them in, but that has been a reason for a lot of the pushed build dates.

Your July25 build date tells me that if you aren’t already scheduled or at the very least scheduled in the next two weeks, you won’t be getting a 22 Maverick.

I just called Ford Marketing. My XL hybrid w/CP360 build week has been moved from 7/25 to 8/22. My VIN sequence is 85XXX. What is your VIN sequence number?

Seems a lot of people are getting pushed back to mid August. I wonder if Ford is doing that to fix the issues with the hybrids. Makes you think.

Not sure how to read the VIN sequence, but...it ends with 74323. Your bump of 1-month from 7/25 to 8/22 mirrors my 6/20 to 7/25.

Something's going on, won't spend any effort on conjecture!

my VIN is 688xx last scheduled for 6/27. it has moved 6 times since before may 16th.

Tim said yesterday, if you have a VIN, you'll get a '22. The last digit in the VIN is model year so that VIN can't be delivered as a '23.
I suppose they could cancel that VIN, but Tim didn't suggest that was possible; he was firm that it would get built and delivered.

I don't see the last digit being the model year.

I have the same problem. My XLT with Copilot original B/D was 6/6 then pushed back till the end of June, and now 7/25.
Did you get emails for all the bumps? I got one for scheduling (week of 6/13) and then on 6/7 I got one saying I was bumped to week of 6/20. Since I haven't heard from this week, I'm hopeful I'm still scheduled for next week.

Did you get emails for all the bumps? I got one for scheduling (week of 6/13) and then on 6/7 I got one saying I was bumped to week of 6/20. Since I haven't heard from this week, I'm hopeful I'm still scheduled for next week.
I have received NOTHING from Ford. I contact the dealer often and they send me updates when they see them on line.
