Slightly late introduction

Hello everyone! My name is Joe and I’m sorry I took so long to introduce myself. It’s been raining a lot here this week and I wanted to get a few pictures of my truck all shiny and clean before I posted this

It’s an alto blue hybrid Lariat with the luxury package and sunroof and I have absolutely fallen in love with this wonderful truck. I was a bit late to the party, only found out about the Maverick a few months ago when my dad told me to research them and I decided I had to have one. Made a lot of phone calls to a lot of different dealerships and finally found this one in Colombus someone backed out of a few minutes before I called. I bought it immediately and flew up a few days later to pick it up and drive it back to Dallas.

I do DoorDash full time so the gas mileage is making these high gas prices much easier for me (I was only doing 19 mpg before and had to run 93 octane in my old vehicle) Driving it around so much has given me plenty of time to think about different modifications I want to make so I’ll keep y’all posted on all that as I go! I’m glad to be here and look forward to getting to know everybody!

Congrats! That's basically my original order without the sunroof. I changed mine from Alto Blue when I saw it in person because while I love it when the blue shines, it just looks black more often than not.

Since I know the next person will ask, did you have to pay any ADM? Also, how did you find that dealer in Ohio? I've got my name in dealers out of state, but not that far out haha

I did pay about $5,000 markup but I felt it was worth it because I really needed a new vehicle, my volvo just wasn’t cutting it for work anymore, plus I could afford it. I’d had other dealerships ask me for 9, 10 or even $12,000 markup before so it actually felt like a good deal. They had one dealer add on too but I was actually thankful for it because it was a ceramic coating and I was planning on having that done anyway so they saved me the trouble.

As far as finding the dealer in Ohio I just went on auto trader a few times a week and called about all the lariat lux packages I saw pop up. I annoyed a lot of salesmen I’m sure because most were already spoken for but I managed to find four or five available. This one was the only deal that made any sense to me, all the others were too expensive.

Well glad you got one in the end. Most of the dealers around me have them for $5,000 over except where I ordered mine at. They never had markups before, but started shortly after the demand. Went from $500 and crept up each month. Now up to $3000 ADM. Still better than most. I'll gladly pay that if one comes in for me there.
