It doesnā€™t have to be something I would buy or want to appreciate it. Lots of mods at car shows I wouldnā€™t do, but the owners built it for them, not me.

Some of you havenā€™t watched enough car building shows. They are far from the kind of art Iā€™m known for, but they ARE art and i love looking at emā€™. If i lived in a big cityā€¦ā€¦ā€¦ā€¦

I love it! Oh wait, crap, itā€™s 2021, not 1992 when lowing like this was cool. šŸ¤£šŸ˜‚šŸ¤£

sorry, I hated lowering back then too. What a waste of a truck. Why take a practical truck and making it completely impractical?

EDIT: So, I feel I should apologize for the dig at lowering. Itā€™s not my thing, but itā€™s not a waste if thatā€™s what youā€™re into. And I clearly have no clue about the lowering culture. Sorry. My neighbor dropped tons of cash into an early-40s Anglia w/o regret. Went to shows, enjoyed the community. Same thing here. Sorry for throwing shade.

Weā€™re talking about a unibody Mav not a Raptor šŸ˜‚. Lowering this ā€œtruckā€ wonā€™t make it completely impractical. A bagged or a sensible static drop and most will be fine.

Why lower a Mav? Same reason some will raise it. Because they dig the looks or want to potentially increase the on-road performance etc. All types and degrees of both positive and negative (talking height here) suspension mods for little car-trucks like the Mav.

I donā€™t yuck anotherā€™s yum.

I might lower mine. It's definitely something that has crossed my mind (just a minimal lowering kit). One thing it will certainly get is a tune.
This is a car to me. A car with a big open trunk area. I have my 2018 F-250 Super Duty for "truck" stuff...
