Took our 22 Maverick Hybrid to our dealership for the side curtain airbag recall. Tech did the repair and now the vehicle is dead in his stall with no power
They don’t know why?

Looks like they need take it back apart to make sure everything it hooked back up. Don't suppose they checked that the 12v is connected under the back seat. I assume they would disconnect the battery to do the job.

They took the new airbags off and put the old ones back in and still no power to complete vehicle. Don’t know about the 12v under the seat?
Tech is Waiting on a response from Ford

Did the try using a jump pack to the 12 volt battery connections under the hood? if that starts the Maverick then they might have accidentally damaged the connectors on the 12 volt battery under the back seat.

It's Saturday. Probably no one working today with the experience to figure out what's wrong. Good luck with getting a response from Hotline on a Saturday.

Did they reconnect the "service loop" in the engine bay? For a lot of "heavy" maintenance involving electrical systems, the first and last steps involve disconnecting the HVB using that disconnect. From memory (dangerous at my age!) it's a green connector near firewall on passenger side of engine bay.

This is the LAST thing I wanted to read on the forums!!
I just dropped mine off to the dealership where I purchased it yesterday, for the airbag recall replacement. I was told to expect it to be 3-4 days there.
I'll keep ya'll posted ....

Hmmm.... other than removing the trim, headliner, & replacing airbags, there isn't much to this recall.

The first step is to "Depower the Supplemental Restraint System". And then repower when done.
If there was an SRS fault before the repair, then a fuse needs to be removed & battery disconnected. If not, then there isn't much to this step.

Unless something were accidently disconnected. Or the 12V battery is just depleted?

I'm going to remove the panels myself before taking mine in.
