Received my cd, manual is very complete and easy to navigate. Covers both drivetrains and has the ability to open the wiring manual from its front-end interface once those become available.

I have printed out the trans fluid level check procedure and PTU fluid check procedures for my maintenance book, print interface works perfectly too.

Hope this helps anyone considering the purchase....

OP, do you know if the CD is required when viewing the manual? I've pretty much gone CD Drive less on my laptops, I would consider the manual if I can copy it to a hard drive.

Hey @TooManyVehicles unfortunately yes. The setup only loads the viewer and it looks for the "volume" you have in the drive location. Appears the same viewer is used for all the various manuals you would have available in a dealership or shop setting.

I am with you on the lack of drives, I have one monster in my hobby room that has the only cd drive we own - I primarily use that machine for 3d print slicers and some light cad work.

I wonder if the disk couldn't be copied onto a thumb drive and run from there? It's only 475 MB......

Okay, I uninstalled, then setup a new folder on C: drive. Copied the cd into that folder, ejected the disk & then I attempted to run setup.exe, and that did not fly - no Bueno, it looks for the disk.

You could create an ISO of the disc and then burn the image to a USB and maaaaaybe that would work? Curious... Might have to buy this, a disc drive, then experiment.

A solution for this would be a help to many folks -

Maybe you can rip the ISO to your hard drive, then mount the iso to a virtual CD-ROM, like Virtual CloneDrive.

Yes, this might work even if it is expecting a mounted drive. Another even more far fetched way might be to create a virtual machine, then have the guest have a cd drive (that looks physical to the guest but is an iso at the host level).

Yes to all. Hit the print button, adjust using tools at top to get the pages the way you want and hit print again, then you are in the standard printer selection screen where you can either print to paper or to .pdf.

you can spoof/mount the iso file. Google it
