My XLT 2.0t with lux, tow, and fx4 is incredibly quiet compared to my 2008 retired P71 Crown Vic I drove for 9 years. As far as road and wind noise.

The 2.0t however.... I don't think it's just the injectors and fuel pumps. I know that sound on these. My 2.0t might have some other problem. Either it has an issue or it's just 4x louder than normal because it doesn't have insulation under the hood, engine cover, or sound glass.

I have a Lariat with sound shield wind shield. No wind noise. Road noise is only a bit loud on the roughest highways. Creaks and rattles are 0. Also most OEM tires donā€™t help. I think it only needs sound deadening sheets on back panel of passenger compartment. I do plan to add it in that area.

My XLT FX4 with the Pirelliā€™s is nice and quiet. I donā€™t know what your idea of noisy is, but my Maverick is quieter on the highway than my ā€˜17 Escape SE was. My wife doesnā€™t have to raise her voice at all when she talks to me, so I donā€™t have to turn up the radio as much to drown it out. šŸ˜†

Had my/our first substantial trip, 300 miles round trip yesterday. A lot of 55/65/70 posted speed highway driving. We were able to have conversations at normal levels, no need to raise our voices.

I own an XLT 2.0 AWD 4K Tow FX4 with 17" Alloy Wheel Option and there is not any type of noise issue
at all with this truck. This truck is as solid as a rock. I am not sure that the current lucky and fortunate Maverick owners and that includes myself, are driving the same truck from some of these complaints I read. For the people who are waiting for this magnificent truck to arrive please believe none of these minor complaints as you will be as happy with your Maverick as I am with mine. Hands down one of the best vehicles I have purchased.

My Lariat Maverick is quieter than my old (2015) BMW X1 on the highway.
Personally, I think the cabin is decently quiet at highway speeds.

Same here, except mine is a Lariat. One of the quietest vehicles I've ever driven. Road noise is non-existant, unless driving on a milled road surface.

Test drove an Eco Boost Lariat last week and I thought it was very quiet. Quieter than our 08 Honda Accord and my 08 Frontier PU. I expect the Hybrid version to be just as quiet. My only complaint was the speakers suck.

I drive a toaster (Honda Element) that is extremely noisy on the highway, I'm expecting the Maverick to be 50% quieter or more than the Honda. If it's louder I'll make a YouTube video than sell it :)

My Mav is way quieter then my 2014 jeep wrangler jku with Goodyear Wrangler AT tires that it replaced.

My Mav did come with 17" wildpeaks AT tires so I do notice road noise
