I can only imagine what that is going to cost.. Is it supposed to be their comparable model to the Maverick or are they coming out with a smaller truck also?

Tacoma rival to Ranger. Not even same size and class.

In the video they said 30mpg combined. So not really maverick territory. But fantastic none the less.

Ah good. I see Toyota finally got around to applying the standard uglification treatment to the Tacoma. Long overdue!

10 years into the automotive industry's massive grille nightmare trend with no apparent end in sight.

Interesting news, I was really hoping for a higher MPG version of the new Tacoma since it will probably be a lot easier to get ahold of than a Maverick anytime soon. I am willing to pay more for the Tacoma within reason.

This isn't meant to compete with the Maverick. It's a "real" truck.

I'm sure it will be tuned for performance just like the hybrid tundra. The exact opposite of what people expected from the company that brought the Prius.
