In short: It was expensive, but I like it, a lot.
Pros:
-Very sturdy, heavy gauge aluminum, locks securely. It's been great being able to stack it full of gear/ tools/ groceries and not work about anything getting stolen when I'm running multiple errands.
-Smooth rolling action.
-Been great for camping and keeping the trial dust or snow off of my gear (I added a ton of weatherstripping to the tail gate)
-Being able to lock the top at any position is great.
-Materials and finishes have held up perfectly. I street park the car and it's in the sun everyday. I use Meguiar's Ceramic Spray Way when I wash my truck and I think that's helped keep it looking good.
- Looking to get add this cheap ladder rack to the slot rails, if I need to make lumber or metal supply runs.
Cons:
-If you're not paying attention, the top can suddenly get jammed if you don't push on the center of the edge when opening. It's an easy fix though, just pull fully-closed and re-open until it runs smoothly again.
-The 12"x12" box the top rolls into eats up some of the bed space, but honestly I haven't found it to be a limiting problem for what I've been using the truck for (see pics). If you temporarily remove the drain tubes you can still fit a good amount of 4x8 sheet plywood back there with minimal over hang
-Keeps the bed area much drier than I expected (I power wash the heck out of the truck at one of those coin-op places) but there are some minor leaks in the corners at the edges of the box where the drain tubes are connected. It's so little water that I'm not interested in chasing it down.
Overall I've been extremely pleased with the decision.
