My 2024 Maverick XLT will not remote start in cold weather. Had it to the dealer twice. Can’t fix it. Any one else having this problem?

There are other things that will kill the remote start. One of which is "will the truck successfully lock?". The hood has to be latched so if you have it up and maintainer on jump posts remote start will not work because truck cannot lock. Maybe double check all things to be sure remote start will run. There are some threads on problems with remote start. If you have the opportunity, take it to another dealer. It's very likely a battery issue but they don't want to replace it. Trust me it happens. Or you can properly charge it yourself and then try the remote start while you are standing outside the truck. Pretty much a guess without additional information. And if you haven't already, try using the other remote.

I'm going to say Ford Pass App, because it is a 2024 XLT.Are you trying to remote start with the app or do you have fob remote start?
Loks like you forgot to bring your sleds with you.Just home from northern Maine where I went for a 5 day snowmobile loop trip. 2 blizzards while I was gone. Left the remote in the truck and locked with the pin pad. 24 Lariat EB. Shoveled my enough to get into the door, reached into center console and started the truck remotely with no issues. 15 to 20+ below every night with some days not reaching zero. No problems....![]()
