Rear Dome light issue

most of the time it stays on, but occasionly will go out.

Does double-lock with the fob make any difference?
If it does, just double-lock it.

If you don't like the horn honk on double-lock, turn off "Mislock Chirp" in your Lock Settings, accessed through the steering wheel menu options.

no, makes no difference how doors are locked, or if they are even locked..

Thought of that, but dealer is a long ways away and I have a 2025 on order that I hope to get sometime in Jan.. So might just live with it until then..

I know this is kind of a "hack" but you could just pull the bulb out, so you don't have to worry about a dead battery. At least until your MY25 comes in.

I have never switched mine on separately. But , I believe there is a built in switch but not like the front toggle. If you see no switch try pushing on the lens. It can be set on/off/time delay off (maybe?)

Tried that and there is no way to turn it off by pressing the lens, like the front lights..

My lariat works by pushing light up towards the roof. If it does not come on perhaps your 12v soc is below the battery save cutoff voltage. If it doesn't turn off maybe try pushing on different 1/2 of the lens?

I believe the 12V is only on hybrids... I checked the light again and I can turn it off/on by pressing on the lens, but unable to turn it off that way..

I cannot check mine but this may be something stupid. I turned mine off/on/off/on. Maybe I had front off? Do not remember if front door was open or shut so maybe something stupid like it won't turn off if front or back or both doors are open.

Out of curiosity I just checked my rear dome light. I always keep them set to off with the button on the front overhead console. Upon checking my rear dome light acts like the fronts when you press it it will turn on and off with a press.

Thanks to this thread, I just found that out I didn't know that it function that way previously.

Not sure it even has a removable "bulb." The fronts do not.
