The only thing about red paint is that it never lasts a least in my experience, I had one truck and one car with red paint and always had problems with the paint after about 4 or 5 years, this truck will not be garage kept and the red paint may be a problem eventually.

my 2013 F-150 Ruby Red with 110000 miles with 6 months in sunny Florida looks outstanding. That is way I ordered the same color which is now Rapid Red. Doesn't show dirt and thru the years have had many complements.

I watched this video earlier about Bronco, Maverick and F150 Lightning. You may have seen it or a link may have already been posted.


He talks about Bronco colors being discontinued including Rapid Red and Anti-Matter Blue (Alto Blue?) for 2022. They are likely committing these colors to Maverick. He also talks about an additional Dark Green color for Bronco. There is other good info in the video about F150 Lightning demand and production capability. He is a Bronco guy but has several Maverick videos.

What is up with the first edition. I am in Canada and being told that my order can not be filled. Have seen nothing that says anything about first edition being stopped.

Is yours a hybrid, heard they are not doing hybrids in Canada.

The red is absolutely stunning! One thing that pique my interest...the front bumper has what looks like punch outs for fog lights. Hopefully, it will be an after market accessory.

They're molded in solid.
