It's really cool that you are doing this. I really wish I met up with ya while we Tremored through CO and UT last June. I did find a FX4 VB at a trailhead outside of Durango though. Never met the owner. I love your style and we do have to have humor about these trucks. Just like the sticker I had on my first beater CJ7. It read, You just got passed by a a shitty Jeep. Glad you are able to keep up the spirit. That's what we do and really in some ways our Tremor is a trophy of my wife's cancer battle.

How did you get BAP on the FX4? I didn't think that was possible! I put the RC 2 inch strut kit on mine, love it! I wonder how much of a difference the strut kit is compared to the puck.

What gear on the transmission were you using for your trip?
I am planning on going east. No trip is complete without climbing mount Washington I had to keep my Jeep Liberty in low the last time to keep the trans from over heating. I am curious what your suggestions are for the maverick.
