It will soon once my wallet recovers! The tent is designed to be able to add racks and can hold up to 80 pounds. So will eventually be adding a panel once I can afford it.
There are plenty of easy-store foldout solar panel solutions you could use that you could attach in a second with just some velcro. Then in the bed, strap down a compressor-style portable fridge. Costco has their Massimo CX-30, CX-40, and CX-50 models on sale right now, $100 off. Costco also has their Ecoflow solar panel and battery power station kit on sale too also around $100 off this week.
Thank you! It was a pretty penny. For the tent and rack including install labor it was 6,000. I like to tell myself that it was only 2000 though because after selling my car I had 4000 left from it that went into the setup.
NP, I like Costco because of the lifetime satisfaction warranty. It can crap out 5 years later, and they'll still refund you if you just keep a copy of the receipt. There are only certain items that aren't covered, but from what I can tell it doesn't include any of those (it says fridges are not covered but only if they are over 10 cubic feet).
Oh wow I didn't know about the warranty thats amazing! Will for sure be asking my friend to take me on her next Costco run so I can check out what they got near me.
Fairly certain its online only but free shipping, and just checked the sale on the portable fridges ends 25th and the Ecoflow solar/power stuff ends on the 24th. I could be wrong, but pretty sure you don't have to have a Costco membership to buy the online stuff, and those I don't think have the 5% non-members surcharge. Sometimes stuff on sale does, but those look like the same price whether I'm logged in or not.
