So I’m about a week out from picking up a truck but was wanting some feed back from some of the guy who have lowered there truck.

I’ve normally ran djm on my other trucks and have seen several guys post they been using escape springs from h&r steeda and scale coil overs.

my question is what trouble did you run into during installation or after?

How is the handling and smoothness of the ride?

would you rather have another set or happy with the ones you got?

Scale coilovers here
Install was straight forward, had to do some convincing in the rear
Alignment will be your issue
Ride is quite stiff, if you drive over a bunch of rough roads I would not suggest the Scales
It looks killer lowered though, I'm glad I rarely encounter terrible roads

Fwd lowered on h&r springs. Ride
is not terrible in my opinion. Have had many lowered trucks and it seems to be similar. Little firm but overall ride is good. Going to be switching over to scale coil overs once they arrive

Finally after nearly a year sitting the driveway, I lowered the 2022 XL with Eibach Springs and left the Steelies for now. I did purchase RTX wheels 19" (Gunmetal Grey with lower profile tires). But want to check low look ride. 1200 miles

I had the H&R escape springs on my hybrid. They road terrible. Very bumpy with no suspension travel. I now have Eibach for the maverick and it ride 10 times better.

Eibach springs here in the Austin area and it's either the roads here or me being an old man, but I'm not happy with the ride.

As a result, I'm exploring options:
  1. Go back to stock springs and live with the wheel gap
  2. Get coilovers and hope the ride is not as bad or worse
  3. Get only rear coilovers to level the truck
  4. Get the front level kit and live with it higher
