I’m not getting much help from my salesperson on my canceled 22 VIN Maverick Hybrid not emails from Ford. Thanks to recommendations made from folks in this site, I called Ford Customer Service today and the representative was very helpful and provided me with a VIN number and a scheduled build date of January 16. I asked about the status of the Private Offer since my salesperson is clueless on the process. The connected me to Ford Marketing for assistance with the Private Offer. After a few questions, the representative confirmed that I am entitled to the Private Offer for the hybrid and proved me with the Private Offer Certificate Number. He told me that I needed to pass that Certificate Number on to my salesperson so that it can entered into my order but needs to be done by January 3. The offer would be applied to my 23 hybrid and would be reflected in the window sticker with Certificate Number. I have provided this information to my salesperson via email, text message and voice mail and asking that he provide me confirmation that this has been done, especially with only a few days remaining. Nothing from him yet. If I had not called Ford, I would have missed out on the Private Offer and the process of how to go about getting it done. For those that are getting the Private Offer, how were you notified? Seems like the salesperson would have informed me from the dealership or Ford through an email. Tim @fordvideoguy how have you handled that? Thanks again for all the folk’s sharing great information on this site!

I've never heard of the private offer being put onto the Window Sticker...or that there was a deadline on the Private Offer. It is basically a rebate (and as such, will be subject to sales tax).

As Tim has said, the Ford Certificates do have quarterly expiration dates, but he expects that January 3 date to be extended into April. Tim has covered this a couple of times in his YouTube videos. I contacted my salesman and he sent me a copy of my Certificate report. My Truck is currently scheduled for 1/13 build, so I hope to eventually see the date change on the certificate.

While a bit off topic, during my 14 month crusade for my Maverick., I bypassed the salesperson and went to manager of the dealer for help. I got his email and telephone number from the dealer website by looking for a staff tab. He was much more helpful than my ditzy salesperson.

I think all this Maverick stuff requires a higher IQ than was required in the past.

I think Tim has touched on this before, currently ALL the private offers for people that had a 22 order that didn't get built (cancelled hybrids included), are due to expire on the 3rd, and he fully expects that expiration date to be extended because obviously Ford has no shot of getting all those rolled over orders built by then.

It's only $20 to join in certain states, in some it costs much more.
And it isn't able to be combined with X-Plan pricing (or the other alphabet plans, I think).

The Ford Marketing people you talked to don't understand how any of this works.....

The salesman can easily look up your certificate # in Smart Vincent. Salesmen don't enter the # into your order anywhere. Nothing can be done before the sale date.
Nothing relating to private offer will be on the window sticker.

Most private offers that were "active" when you ordered the 23 Mav will be protected (even if they subsequently expire).
I checked the details on the Mav transition private offer. It shows effective date range Sep 12, 2022 - Jan 03, 2023. Ford will probably extend...but I think 100% of affected orders will have this incentive protected anyway. Nothing you should worry about at this point.

I don't think any private offer/incentive shows going past Jan 3rd right now. Ford will make new ones or extend some of these. But there is nothing for the dealer to do now.

Yes. Join in Illinois for only $20. Anyone can join. You do not have to be a resident of Illinois, a farmer, or own farmland. You can buy a Ford truck in any state. Certificate is valid for five purchases. Phone number is 309-663-6497 and here is the website—

Unless that's the point.

Would explain why my ecoboost date moved up almost a month already.

My sig below tells the story of my rollover order. The day the memo came out about all of the undersubscribed packages was the same day I learned about the special offer expiring January 3. I decided that I wanted the XLT Lux package added, but only if the dealership could assure me that I would still get the special offer, which they did. I believe they said something to the effect that the offer is tied to the original order date, in my case November 14, and not to the purchase date. I got the Lux package added based on his explanation. If I don't get the offer, you'll hear about it here, same as if I do. As of now, delivery is slated for late February. Good luck to us all.

I have the same order date of November 14 per Ford Customer Service. Salesperson said nothing. I have a scheduled build date of January 16 for my Ford Maverick Hybrid Lariat with luxury package. Original order was end of October 2021. I’ve seen so many versions of how the Private Offer is to work, some say you don’t have to do anything, others, you have to be pro active and take some sort of action. I’m trying to cover it all because losing nearly $3,000.00 would really piss me off because of incompetence at some level. Good luck and I’ll post as well.

Customers and dealers were not notified which customers had the private offer. I went through my list of unscheduled 2022 orders and canceled 2022 orders and looked up each one to see which customers were missing the private offers and which had them showing in smartvincent certificate inquiry. I sent my missing list to my contact at Ford on the Maverick instead of hoping that the Sales and Inventory Specialist (who is already too busy) would get to the list.
