Long story short, I picked up my Maverick last night from my dealer. The purchase price was $900 higher than what we had originally agreed to when ordering (12/28/21). I mentioned the price protection program and my salesman acted like i had two heads. He said, Ford doesn't have any kind of purchase protection program and if they did he never heard of it. I even explained that there are plenty of dealers that honored the original price and he quickly switched the conversation back to small talk. At this point i don't care because i waited so long, but is there anyway to contact Ford about the price difference?
Not to mention I'm paying for the the price increase on the luxury package and getting a crappy drop in bed liner that i didn't agree to. Overall the truck is great and exceeds my expectations. I just hate losing out on what could be over a $1200 price difference if you want to include the bed liner.
