I bought this on amazon for about $6

It is identical to the pigtail except for the length of the wire which is shorter. It does click into the socket positively.

This fits the fronts? The rears? Or both?

The power points in the bed near the tailgate. If you want to wire in something to both, the ford is only giving one pigtail which is the longer one in the picture. It should be either in your glove box or in the back seat storage if you haven't seen it.

Thanks for clarifying. Thought this was for the speakers.

I have speakers ready to go in the door I'll let you know when I get around to installing them.

Thanks for the link. The link shows 2 harnesses but it looks like it is for one harness only.

I haven't got my vehicle yet. One question, are there weather seals, around the wires on the back of the Ford connectors? Are the speaker connectors the same?

There are two in the package. I just pulled one out for the pic to compare it to the OEM pigtail.

That's quite the find. I bought one off ebay for $12.00 :(
I just wanted to create a thread that would pop up whenever someone searched "pigtail" for exactly that reason.

This pigtail has two red connectors on the end of both wires. And those connectors are much smaller in a size then the standard contact for example on the 12V outlet. How to connect this thing? Does it needs to be cut and replaced with the larger contacts?

I would guess so. not a huge deal. You can get no-solder connectors.

And I should add that the pigtail included with your maverick has no connectors at all. The important part is the plug at the other end is identical to the plug on the oem pigtail.

Right. The most important part is this big black connector facing the truck harnessing. I already replaced the pigtail terminals with the larger ones (easy stuff). And it was definitely in time. I punched my tire today. So was able to test this outlet. Everything is working as needed.
Still thinking about the fuse. Do I need it there
