For those who have your Mavericks.
Can we see a pic of your XL/XLT Key or your Lariat/First Edition FOB. Thanks.

That black plastic thing beside the transmitter has nothing to do with the Maverick, right? It's a sizable key. Wish it was a bit smaller. My Kia had the same buttons, was much smaller and was designed more like a detonator. It was pretty sweet.
This is for a Lariat with Lux. So push button start, remote start.
Correct. Just my apartment key. That black plastic thing beside the transmitter has nothing to do with the Maverick, right?
Thanks, that looks just like my Bronco key. Interested to see what XL/XLT key looks like without an available push button start. It's a sizable key. Wish it was a bit smaller. My Kia had the same buttons, was much smaller and was designed more like a detonator. It was pretty sweet.

The standard XLT has this same fob btw.
So do you need a different fob to have the remote start even if you get this kit?The Ford accessory perimeter alarm system includes remote start.
It is a P-N-P installation, the remote start needs to be enabled in the BCM, but hopefully someone will figure that out in Forscan.
List is $207, Tasca Ford has it for $161.
Cheap way to get an alarm system, remote start and all P-N-P, plus covered under your factory warranty.

do you mean remote start? I don’t think the XLT comes with push to start (ie, keep the key in your pocket and push a button to turn on the truck when you get in)Here’s my XLT fob…with push button start.
No. a Lock unlock lock sequence will start the vehicle! So do you need a different fob to have the remote start even if you get this kit?
