I did a thing.
I swear every time I look at the blank space of the dashboard and see those screws there, I just see an opportunity. And so I made a quick adapter to put a phone mount to the right of the screen.
Printed in rapid PETG, still very much a WIP. I wish I could get the same Ford dashboard screws, just slightly longer... STL file linked is the version on the dashboard now, v3 is printing now and will need testing. Also recommend an extension arm so the mount is offset and not hitting the screen. Thinking of also surrounding the print in foam/rubber strip to avoid plastic-on-plastic.
Maverick Tax included.
EDIT: Newer WIP STL file
Oh, and the extension arm, and more importantly, the adapter plate I used. Both purchased some time ago and these exact ones are not available, but alternatives are around.
