Picked her up Saturday! Love oxford white on the Mav!

I went back and forth on color choice so many times my head hurt...ended up going with Oxford White. Am very glad I did, because it really makes for unlimited customization possibilities.
As shown in the pictures, I went with the Chip Foose-inspired theme for my XLT.
First 2 pics are "as delivered" in July; subsequent shots are current status.
I have a Ford Accessories 'HoodScoop', but am still debating whether to have it painted and installing it.
Am leaning toward just putting a matte-black panel in the center of the hood and calling it a day.

I was able to buy mine in October of last year and have just over 10k miles on it. Had a radio and drivers side door lock electrical gremlin other than that it's a great truck.

I'm in Arizona... lighter the color, cooler the body & inside. Makes a lot more difference than you would think. Plus, the white always seems to look cleaner. Had a black Jeep, and I could see a layer of dust on it 5 minutes after washing and waxing it.

I want Oxford White with painted door handles and mirrors. I have had Silver/blue, Bronze and Victory Red. Time for a change and cheaper to repaint if needed.

For those of us in the Great Lakes States, how much of a pain is it to regularly clean the bugs off of Oxford White? I have have a friend with a white minivan, who complains abut this at times!

We have owned white vehicles for a long time. While the bugs on the front do show up more on white and lighter color vehicles, that’s only about 15% of the surface of the vehicle. The rest of the vehicle stays or at least looks much cleaner longer than the dark colored vehicles. Especially in the winter.

I also found that keeping the front waxed, the bugs come off easier.

It's an issue no matter the color...chips too.
I applied a good quality (3M) paint protection film to the most vulnerable areas on the nose of mine. Though it required a definite "learning curve", the process is pretty straightforward.
And the film is in visible once applied.
I don't know for how long it will hold-up, but it sure makes cleaning tar and bugsplatter a lot easier.
And most importantly, no paint chips.

Just wrapped up a few minor upgrades to my xl that got delivered a few months back. Gonna be leaving this at a cabin we own so we'll have a reliable vehicle to use, so didnt want to spend a lot of $...Pretty happy with it....paid $21,500 and spent $1900 on rims, tires, run boards, 1.5"level, tailgate lettering/gas assist, and upgraded floormats. Now its something I'm proud to drive around! Wish I'd gone with 245's instead of 235's, but didnt know at that point if they'd fit...will go bigger when these wear out.

Ordered 4 white xl's for the business, got em in and decided to keep one for myself. I would have probably gone black for mine if I'd kown, but white is growing on me once i did a few small mods!

I finally settled on OxfordWhite after going back-and-forth on 3 or 4 of the other color choices. And, like you, I'm glad I did. White goes with anything when it comes to customizing, as does black of course. But having owned a black vehicle in the past, I came to hate the upkeep. White is so much better.

Yeah, I think it dresses it up.
I tried both silver and blue (which you see in the pics). The silver barely showed-up and kinda looked like duct tape, lol.
So I went with the blue.

The decals I've used (except the 'GRABBER', and STX logo's) are by Vinyl Imagination. The Wheel-Lip Moldings and SST tailgate letters are from Ford Accessories. I also have the Ford Accessories Hood-Scoop but haven't gotten it painted Oxford White yet. With winter coming, that might have to wait til next Spring.
