Thanks for sharing. We have pretty much identical truck, colour, trim, 4K tow. We haven't towed our camper yet. 12.1 = 23+ mpg (UK), very impressive! I have a letter from Ford here with a recall to re-program the trailer brake controller. Our camper is light, has surge brakes (which I don't think actually work?), so a non-issue.

Edit, I have to ask, did you fuel up with premium?

Took our Prolite Escapade for a little trip out this weekend, over the 266km round trip we averaged 12.1 L/100km (165miles/19.4mpg) at a steady 100km/h (60mph) I'm pretty happy with that considering the trip out was into a pretty strong headwind. Loaded up the trailer tipped the scales at 2700lbs

ran it on regular. our trailer brake issue is separate from the recall, we have a software issue where there is no way to store the gain controls, I was hoping the recall would fix it but no such luck. the manual slider does still activate the brakes though so I do use it when necessary on longer descents. Ford Canada are investigating.

simple ball mount 5" drop. rear suspension drops 1" 1/2 when hooked up.

I would love to get a little camper like that! Great setup for a couple for a weekend! Heck, id probably drag it to the city for a day trip just to have a dinette and a toilet when doing a food run

yes, although my brake controller doesn't work correctly at the moment...

There is a recall on the trailer brake control. It takes about half an hour for the reprogramming. I had mine done last week and it works fine now.

some more from this weekend.. 274km, 13 of which were uphill on 8% gradient, dash recorded 10.9l/100km (21.5mpg), hand calculated at 10.3 (22.8mpg). Not too shabby!
